Your Right to Delete
At Father Colombo Health, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Account Information: Your profile, name, phone number, email, and login credentials
- Health Records: All uploaded medical documents, prescriptions, lab reports, and health history
- Health Tracker Data: Steps, sleep, medication logs, diet entries, and other tracked health metrics
- Chat History: All messages with healthcare providers and AI health chat conversations
- Appointment History: Past consultation records and booking history
- Payment Information: Transaction history (we do not store card details)
- App Preferences: Settings, notifications, and personalization data
How to Request Deletion
Option 1: Through the App
- Open the Father Colombo Health app
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
- Your account will be scheduled for deletion
Option 2: Via Email
Send an email to support@fathercolombo.in with:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered phone number
- Your registered name
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Deletion Timeline
- Request Acknowledgment: Within 24 hours
- Account Deactivation: Immediate upon confirmation
- Data Deletion: Within 30 days of request
- Backup Purge: Within 90 days (data in backups)
Data We May Retain
Certain data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance:
- Transaction Records: Payment records for tax/audit purposes (up to 7 years as required by law)
- Legal Obligations: Data required for ongoing legal proceedings or regulatory requirements
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics for service improvement
This retained data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Before You Delete
Please consider:
- Download Your Data: Export your health records before deletion as they cannot be recovered
- Active Bookings: Cancel any pending appointments or consultations
- Pending Refunds: Ensure any refunds are processed before deletion
- Linked Clinics: Your data shared with clinics will also be removed from their access
Account Recovery
Important: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted:
- Your data cannot be recovered
- You will need to create a new account to use Father Colombo Health again
- Your previous health history will not be available
